the cimetrics b6000 is a bacnet/ip to bacnet/mstp router. it helpsroute communications between bacnet/ip and bacnet/mstp local areanetworks. this allows bacnet/ip devices to communicate with bacnetdevices on a bacnet/mstp network. the ethernet connection conformsto the bacnet/ip standard which is complemented by many networkfriendly features such as dhcp and password protected browser basedsetup screens.  this device requires no mapping because alldata on the one side (for example, the bacnet/ip side) istransparently passed to the other side (bacnet ms/tp) and viceversa. configuration is easy and the hardware has been designed toprofessional electrical standards and is housed in a robust metalhousing.
