中埋式橡胶止水带接头方法有两种：一种是采用粘接剂进行冷接头，一种是使用热硫化模具进行热接。

从结构形式上可分为cb型止水带和cp型止水带两种。

cb型止水带是指中间有孔的中埋式止水带，可分为cb型橡胶止水带、cb型塑料止水带两类。主要适用于各种混凝土构筑物的伸缩缝、沉降缝及防震缝等，具有与混凝土锚固紧密、止水密封和适应变形缝伸缩变形的能力优秀等。

我们对于此种橡胶止水带设计及选用标准： 在工程设计及施工选用过程中，cb型中埋式橡胶止水带的宽度及厚度应按以下条件确定:

1、水压小于4m,水平和垂直变形量不超过10mm 时，cb型中埋式橡胶止水带的宽度不宜小于200mm，厚度不宜小于5mm；
