硅橡胶管被普遍利用于高效能汽车.机车的改装。
原厂管件通常是epdm橡胶材质,一般只采用单层尼龙网布做为内部强化的材质,
安全温度为-15℃~120℃,由于寒带区域温度远低于-15℃,且引擎室经常有超
120℃的情形,在这样的情况下,传统的管件橡胶会急速老化、硬化,耐高压及高低
温的能力大减而呈现爆管的现象。
而硅橡胶管安全温度保守估计为-50℃~250℃,加上材质特性是
高份子聚合材质,手工精做，内部列入3~4层的尼龙网布。不管
是耐高压耐高温以及使用安全等最少提升一倍，可承受压力高
达12 kg/cm2，为原厂的220%。不会因为抗温能力致使管道老
化或硬化,为了大幅强化管件的耐高压耐高温不膨胀不硬化的
能力,厂内安全测试,温度为98℃时最大接受压力8bar衡压3小
时,管件扩大率小于10%,每一根管件都最少可在4bar的压力下
正常运作。
此外硅胶管还具有耐氧，耐臭氧，耐光，耐弱酸碱等特点。优
良的电绝缘性，耐电弧性，良好的生理惰性和生理稳定性，永
久变形小。外形美观。
