aromas: a very powerful wine in both aroma and palate structure. the aroma is characterized by black cherries and ripe plums, layered with aromas of spicy toasted oak, which gives great complexity.
palate: this complex aroma is carried over on the palate and further emphasized by the silky oak and fruit tannins. these deep tannins give the wine the length and persistence to be one of the best merlots produced byhaanwines since its creation in 1997.

瀚恩(haan)在荷兰语里是雄鸡的意思，又是酒庄庄主汉斯(hans)的家族姓氏，很自然就想到了用雄鸡来做酒庄的商标。瀚恩至尊系列葡萄酒赢得了无数的国际奖牌和奖品，其中最高荣誉是在2005/6年伦敦举办的“国际葡萄酒与激情”的大师酒品比赛中从57个参赛国家的5100个参赛者中脱颖而出，赢得了碧尚拉龙奖(chateaupichonlongueville）的最佳波尔多风格混酿红葡萄酒。同一赛事中瀚恩庄园以酒品酿造实力战胜653个澳大利亚同行参赛名优酒庄，连年荣获了年度最佳澳大利亚葡萄酒庄冠军。
