写作文相当应验的一句话就是：万事开头难。
题目你能完全理解了，观点似乎也找到不少了，可开头又不知道怎么写了。满腔的热血，瞬间血槽全空有没有。

第一步
解释问题为什么很重要
why is the question important?
神马意思呢？相信大部分同学一定没想过这个问题。
大家通常的做法就是直接换个说法，重述题目就算是开头了。可这么写，并不能很好的满足一篇高分作文。
作为一篇好文章的开头，重述问题是必不可少，但你却忽略了解释为什么要写这篇文章，况且只有文章首句可以担任这个重要职能。我们来举例说明吧。
question:
some people prefer to live in a house, while others feel that there are more advantages to live in an apartment.
are there more advantages than disadvantages of living in a house compared with living in an apartment?
我们应该如何思考why is the question important呢？
“因为我们每天有很多时间是花在家里，所以我们应该慎重思考这个问题。”
这句话可以这么写：as we will spend the vast marjority of our time in our homes, it"s essential that we think carefully about our choice of where to live.
是不是一个思考的切入点呢？别急，我们再来看看第二步。
第二步
改述问题
rephrase the question
这一点想必大家都知道怎么做，但请注意，由于我们第一句话解释题目的重要性，因此这一句改述的话就需要遵守连贯性。上下文的内容必须一致，不能突兀。
比如：this naturally leads us to question whether living in a house or an apartment offers the most benefits.
第三步
打算写什么
what are you going to write about?
叙述你将在本文写什么，也就是你的中心思想是什么。请注意这里并不一定要给出观点。需要根据题目类型和要求来决定应该怎么写。
比如：in this essay i will look at the positive and negative aspects of both types of housing, and try to make some conclusions based on my ideas.
