根据门信息发布在职人员参加研究生教育的方式目前分为两类教育和非教育。教育结束后可以双证(证+证)，非教育没有证，没有学籍，但申请通过可证。在职人员可根据个人情况选择适合的方式。

(1)单独。
报考条件大学本科后连续工作4年或4年以上，业务，已发表过研究论文(技术报告)或已成为业务骨干，经本单位同意和两名具有技术职务的，为本单位定向或委托的在职人员。
学方式可以全脱产、半脱产、在职学。
(2)法律硕士。

(1)在职人员攻读硕士联考。
属于研究生非教育，每年10月，主要以招收在职人员为主，其中有部分也招收应届生，如工程硕士等。目前，共有17种法律硕士jm、工商管理硕士mba、公共管理硕士mpa、教育硕士、工程硕士、会计硕士mpacc、公共卫生硕士、农业推广硕士、兽医硕士、体育硕士、艺术硕士mfa、硕士、风景园林硕士、汉语国际教育硕士、翻译硕士等。
(2)同等学力申请硕士。
属于研究生非教育，申请人在后，只表明其在学术上已达到硕士的学术水平，具有硕士研究生的同等学力(学能力的“力”)，不涉及。
(3)研究生进修班。
是在职人员进修、业务水平的一种教学形式，不直接与授予硕士挂钩。课程成绩合格者，可由办班单位发给研究生课程进修班结业证书。研究生课程进修班证书后，和不会有任何改变。
