防雨性测试仪，可检测在不同雨水压力作用下织物或复合材料的拒水性能。本仪器可模拟雨从水平方向喷向垂直固定在不锈钢槽内的待测织物。试样背面紧贴着标准吸滤纸（测试前后需称重）。水柱中的水经标准喷头喷射形成雨，而水柱水量可由600mm增加至2400mm。
