【黑刚玉简介】
明悦黑刚玉的主要含量是三氧化二铝70-80%左右，因而具有硬度适中、韧性高、耐高温、热态性能温定的特点。黑刚玉又名低铝刚玉，是于电弧炉中，将铝矾土熔炼而制得的一种以α-al2o3和铁尖晶石为主矿相的灰黑色结晶体，其特点是al2o3含量较低，并有一定量的fe2o3（10%左右）存在，因而具有硬底适中、韧性高、耐高温、热态性能温定的特点。多用于自由研磨，如制品电镀前的打磨工粗磨，主要用于不锈钢，金属制品，光学玻璃。

【黑刚玉性能】
黑刚玉的冶炼方法与棕刚玉相同，是以三水铝矾土为原料，加少量还原剂，经溶炼而成，其耗电量约为棕刚玉的三分之二。呈黑色，三方晶体，主要化学成分：al2o3不低于77%，sio2含量为10~12%，fe2o3含量为7~10%，tio2约为3%，比重不小于3.61。硬度：莫氏9.0，熔点：2050℃，真密度＞3.50g/cm3。线膨胀系数（0-1600°）：7-9。使用温度：1850℃。
明悦黑刚玉具有很好的自锐性，磨削时发热量少，加工件的光洁度较好，适用于零件电镀前底面抛光，铝制品和不锈钢的抛光，也可用于抛光光学玻璃、加工木材等。由于它的亲水性好，可用在制造砂纸、砂布和树脂磨具，还可以作研磨膏和抛光粉。黑刚玉由于铁含量高，因而不宜用于制造陶瓷磨具。
