these high-quality pressure switcheshavebeen developed especially for safety-critical applications.thehigh quality of the products ensures reliable monitoring ofyourplant. the manufacturer cella is certified to iso 9001.inproduction, the
switches are traced by quality assurance software at every stepandsubsequently are 100 % tested.
all wetted materials are madefromstainless steel as a standard. each switch family is availableinip65, ex-ia or ex-d versions.
in order to ensure as flexible operationaspossible, the pressure switches are equipped with microswitches,whichmake it possible to switch an electrical load of upto 15 a /ac 220 v directly. for smaller contact ratings, such asfor plcapplications, argon gas-filled micro switches withgold-platedcontacts can be selected as an option.
by using a diaphragm measuring system,themodel ma1 pressure switch is extremely robust andguaranteesoptimal operating characteristics. for applicationsrequiringparticularly high corrosion protection, variants with ptfeor
monel wetted parts are available.
switch points
the switch points can be set toyourrequirements, free-ofcharge.
please specify:
switch point, switching direction foreachcontact (e.g. switch point 1: 0.5 bar, falling, switch point 2:3bar, rising)
with two micro switches, the switchpointscan be set independently of each other.
afterunscrewing the case cover, switch point adjustment can bemadeusing the adjustment screw. the switch point is settable withintheentire measuring range with the following
general rule:
■ define the value a = 2 x repeatability+switch hysteresis
■ if the pressure is rising, theswitchpoint should be set between (min. + value a) up to max. ofthesetting range
■ if the pressure is falling, theswitchpoint should be set between min. up to (max. - value a) ofthesetting range
example:
setting range: 0 ... 1 bar with oneswitchcontact
repeatability: 1 % of 1 bar = 10mbar
switch hysteresis = 15 mbar (seetablesetting ranges)
value a = 2 x 10 mbar + 15 mbar =35mbar
if the pressure is rising, the switchpointshould be set between 35 mbar up to 1 bar.
if the pressure is falling, theswitchpoint should be set between 0 up to 965 mbar.
for optimal performance we suggesttheswitch point lies between 25 % and 75 % of thesettingrange.
