The function of the flying shear 1, As the head and rear part of the rolling parts have some defect or the temperature of steel is too low, the flying shear need to cut the head and rear to insure the quality of the rolling parts before it gets into the finishing mill. 2, The flying shear will cut the rolling parts immediately if any failure occurs to the finishing mill, then the switch will turn the parts to snap shear to snap.
Reducing and Sizing Mill Unit The unit consists of a two-stand reducing mill and a two-stand sizing mill. The reducing mill is composed of a gearbox and a rolling mechanism, with the gearbox designed with three shift mechanisms, allowing for eight speed configurations. Similarly, the sizing mill is composed of a gearbox and a rolling mechanism, with the gearbox also designed with three shift mechanisms, allowing for eight speed configurations. The entire unit can achieve 64 speed configurations.
The rolling mill consists of a conical box and a roller box with a 45° spiral bevel gear transmission system. The reducing mill uses a roller box that can withstand high rolling forces, while the sizing mill uses a super-small roller box, making the distance between stands only 150mm, enabling guide-free rolling.
