Product Description Pyrolysis is a thermochemical decomposition process that occurs at high temperatures in the absence of oxygen. It is used to break down organic materials, such as rubber, plastics, tires and other carbon-based substances, into simpler molecules, resulting in the production of various useful materials.
During pyrolysis, the material is heated to temperatures typically between 300°C and 900°C. The heat causes the material to decompose chemically without combustion.
