Usage and Maintenance

The bimetallic thermometer should be stored in a dry and ventilated room, and the indoor air should be clean and have no corrosive effect on the instrument. If the bimetallic thermometer is not installed immediately, please do not open the packaging, and the instrument should be protected from external damage during storage. The removed bimetallic thermometer should be isolated from moisture and dust, and it is recommended to use the original packaging material.

1. The length of the protective tube of a bimetallic thermometer immersed in the measured medium must be greater than the length of the temperature sensing element. Generally, the immersion length is greater than 50mm, and the immersion length in the 0-50C range is greater than 100mm to ensure measurement accuracy. During storage, use, installation, and transportation, bimetallic thermometers should avoid colliding with the protective tube, bending or deforming the protective tube, and using the case as a wrench. 2. Various types of bimetallic thermometers are not suitable for measuring the temperature of the medium inside open containers. Thermometers with charged contacts are not suitable for use in control circuits with high working vibrations.
