Sodium sulfite is an inorganic compound. It is a white granular powder at room temperature, has a sulfur dioxide odor, is stable when dry, and is sensitive to humidity. Application:
Anhydrous sodium sulfite can be used as artificial fiber stabilizer, fabric bleaching agent, photographic developer, dye bleaching deoxidizer, fragrance and dye reducing agent, lignin removal agent for paper making, etc. :
In the printing and dyeing industry can be used as a deoxidizer and bleaching agent, used in the cooking of various cotton fabrics, which can prevent the local oxidation of cotton fibers and affect the fiber strength, and improve the whiteness of cooking compounds.
It can also be used to make cellulose sulfite ester, sodium thiosulfate, organic chemicals, bleaching fabrics, etc., and is also used as a reducing agent, preservative, dechlorination agent, etc.
