Product Description About LDPE Tubing
LDPE tubing is very chemically resistant and is typically used in pneumatic applications or those involving aggressive chemicals such as chemical lines, transfer of food and beverage, and instrumentation. LDPE tubing offers a wide range of working temperatures. This semi-rigid material does not however offer great flexibility. It complies with FDA CFR 21 for food packaging.
Product Parameters Low Density Polyethylene tubing joins the Linear Low Density version, giving customers a broader selection from which to choose. Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) tubing is used for air and pneumatic lines, fluid feeds, chemical transfer, wire jacketing, food and beverage processing, potable water systems, drains, pool and spa supply lines, and more.
LDPE exhibits a high degree of inertness and forms a good barrier to gases, vapors, and moisture. It provides good dielectric properties and will not impart any taste or odor to fluids running through it. LDPE is manufactured from non-toxic, 100% virgin grade resins with ingredients that conform to FDA standards.
