Home Appliance Recycling Plant
The entire line adopts a modular design. It is first disassembled manually, the harmful gases are collected and the compressors are removed. The disassembled large appliances are separated into iron by crushers and magnetic separators, with a purity of more than 98%. The remaining materials are separated into non-ferrous metals and plastics by eddy current separators. The entire production line has foam plastic collection and dust collection systems, which can reach a purity of more than 97%.
The waste appliance shredder produced by Kowloon Machinery can easily shred various electrical appliances. Common large waste appliances include televisions, air conditioners, washing machines, dishwashers, refrigerators, water heaters, disinfection cabinets, range hoods, kitchen stoves, electric fans, etc. The specific categories of waste appliances are as follows:

How to Recycle Air Conditioner?

Waste air conditioners, whether it is a small window unit or a larger HVAC unit, are mainly composed of plastic and metal. In specialized appliance recycling facility, the collected waste air conditioners will be firstly disassembled, and then the hazardous refrigerant is removed and properly recycled or disposed. The rest components including metal and plastic are recovered by shredding, separation and sorting. A typical air conditioners recycling line include following equipment:
1. Conveyor: for feeding air conditioners into shredder
2. Double Shaft Shredder: for primary size reduction
3. Conveyor: for transporting shredded pieces to next equipment
4. Vertical Granulator: for further size reduction of various fractions
