It is produced in an open and heated mould which is like a big waffle iron. Continuous glass fibers are placed in the mould in alternating layers, and wetted thoroughly with resin. This continuous process produces and integral and one-piece panel. After the weaving process is completed, the mould is heated to cure the panel. This process makes the FRP grating featured with bi-directional strength.
