GF Series Tubular Centrifuge The GF series tubular centrifuge, manufactured by Zhengzhou Toper Industrial Equipment Co., Ltd., is designed for separating emulsions and mixing various liquid-liquid-solid phases with minimal impurities. It achieves optimal separation results when the impurity or solid phase content in the liquid is below 1%. If the percentage exceeds 1%, clarification is recommended before operation.
During operation, the mixed slurry is introduced into the bowl through the bottom inlet. The centrifugal force causes the liquids to separate based on their densities, with heavy liquid (water) forming the outer ring and light liquid (oil) forming the inner ring. The separated liquids are discharged through their respective outlets, while any remaining particles settle on the bowl's wall for manual removal after the machine stops.
Essential oils can be extracted using two main methods, both of which involve liquid-liquid separation using the tubular centrifuge:
Steam Distillation: This common extraction method involves heating aromatic plant material with steam in a distiller. The essential oil evaporates with the steam, which is then cooled and separated based on specific gravity. This method is cost-effective and widely used for extracting essential oils.
