Product Description
POM-C/H (black, white) : represents POM copolymer and POM homopolymer respectively. POM copolymer has low melting point, thermal stability, chemical corrosion resistance, flow characteristics, hydrolysis resistance, strong alkali resistance and thermal oxidation degradation, and its processing ability is better than homopolyformaldehyde.
POM homopolymer has high crystallinity, creep property, lower thermal expansion rate, wear resistance, mechanical strength, rigidity, thermal deformation temperature is better than copolymer formaldehyde. (At present, POM semi-finished products in the market generally use POM-C copolymerization)
POM+PTFE (dark brown POM-H+TF is made of DuPont POM (Delrin) raw material and PTFE (Teflon) fiber extrusion. It retains most of the intrinsic strength of Pom-H. Due to the filling of PTFE (Teflon) fiber and some performance changes, slightly soft, less rigid, more slippery than pure polyformaldehyde resin. Compared with pure POM board, this material has better lubricity. The bearing made of POM-H+PTFE has low friction coefficient, wear resistance and basically no creep phenomenon.
Main characteristics of POM: high mechanical strength, high rigidity, high hardness, excellent elasticity, sliding and wear resistance, good creep resistance, even at low temperatures, high impact strength, very good dimensional stability, excellent mechanical properties, physiological inertia, suitable for contact with food.
POM applications: POM plates are widely used in the manufacture of various sliding rotating machinery, precision parts, gears, bearings, etc. It is widely used in automobile, electronics, clothing, medical treatment, machinery, sports equipment and other fields.
It is suggested that because of the large internal stress of POM plate, in order to prevent the stress and deformation, it is necessary to eliminate the internal stress before processing to prevent the plate from bending and deformation.
