The CIP tanks (cleaning in place tanks), allows that the chemical products to clean the food processing plant automatically. The system is composed of a series of tanks containing various solutions needed for cleaning.
CIP is commonly used for equipment such as piping, tanks, and fillers. CIP employs turbulent flow through piping, and/or spray balls for tanks or vessels. In some cases, CIP can also be accomplished with fill, soak and agitate.
A complete CIP system assembled on a SKID is a more or less automated system for washing tanks, vats and pipework circuits for the food-manufacturing industry. It is composed of recovery tanks, a washing pump, a delivery line and the solution return line.

Product Parameters

STEP 1: PRE-RINSE	The pre-rinse is a very important step in the CIP process because a well-monitored and well-executed pre-rinse makes the rest of the wash cycle predictable and repeatable.
STEP 2: CAUSTIC WASH - (140° - 185° F)	austic is typically used as the main detergent in most CIP wash cycles. A non-foaming formulation can help reduce pump cavitation and increase efficiency. It will also prevent tanks from overfilling with foam when the system starts to recirculate.

STEP 4: FINAL RINSE	Rinse with either DI, RO, or city water to flush residual cleaning agents.
STEP 5. SANITIZING RINSE	May be required to help kill microorganisms before starting the next production run.
