Feature
1. Among all kinds of hemp fibers, ramie fibers are the longest and thinnest. The fiber length is two to three times to six to seven times longer than the highest grade cotton.
2. After the raw hemp is degummed and refined, the fiber appearance is white and has a silky luster.
3. The gaps in the structure of ramie fibers are large, the air permeability is good, the heat transfer is fast, the water absorption is large and the moisture dissipation is fast, so wearing hemp fabrics feels cool.
4. Ramie fibers are strong but have low elongation. Its strength is seven to eight times greater than that of cotton.
5. Ramie fibers are not easily corroded by mold and insects, and are light. Compared with cotton cloth of the same volume, ramie cloth is 20% lighter.
