Si-Ba-Ca alloy is a kind of graphite can promote graphitization, reduce the tendency of white mouth, improve the morphology and distribution of graphite, increase the number of eutectic groups, refine the matrix structure, it has a good effect in a short time (about 5-8 minutes) after inoculation. Mainly suitable for various situations of general casting or late instantaneous inoculation. The amount of inoculant used in the inoculation treatment of cast iron has little effect on the chemical composition of cast iron, but great effect on its microstructure, so it can improve the mechanical properties of gray cast iron, and also has obvious effect on its physical properties. Good inoculation has the following effects: Eliminate or reduce the tendency of white mouth; To avoid the occurrence of supercooled tissue; Reduce the sensitivity of the wall thickness of cast iron, so that the difference of the microstructure of the thin and thick section of the casting is small, and the hardness difference is small. 1,Raw materials are added in perfect order for producingmore Mg-Si and reducing the loss of Mg.
2,The thickness of our alloy ingot is under controlled within 10-15mm,if under 10mm,it will increase MgO.if above 15mm, it will reduce the uniformity of our alloy ingot.
3,We will clean the surface of ingot after alloy solidified.Oxide,impurity,and powder of the surface will beeliminated from the surface.
